Unfortunately Soft Tissue Therapy and Sports Massage didn’t quite make the cut in the list of other industries that are allowed to operate from 4th July – Boris clearly hasn’t had a treatment to know that the role plays an important part in healthcare. Our small but united band of Soft Tissue Therapists are lobbying the Government hard to justify our role alongside Allied Health Professionals such as Physiotherapists and Osteopaths in terms of our Risk Assessments, client welfare and high levels of sanitisation. IN THE MEANTIME if you have any niggles that you want to get on top of then I am able to still help either by meeting outdoors or over the phone or by email/messages. I have been able to help many friends/clients in this period and am very happy to help more ๐
I have been been able to take advantage of some free time in lockdown to enjoy lots of CPD (Continued Professional Development), and am looking forward to using and discussing the most current evidence for treatment with you. It’s been really interesting, kept my brain alive and made me excited to get back to helping you lovely people with advice, rehab and of course, soft tissue work… I cannot wait ๐
CPD topics have included The Shoulder, Plantar Facsciitis, various tendinopathies, strength training for runners and triathletes, tennis elbow, pain management and brain plasticity….I’m quite the bore! If there is something particularly bothering you and you’d like the most up to date evidence based advice, let me know and I’ll hot up on it ๐
I am looking forward to hearing from you/seeing you soon! ๐
